When you work for an employer as a W-2 employee, not as independent contractor, you have certain rights. One of these rights is the right to be paid in full and on time. If your employer violates this law, they are in violation of both Maryland and Federal law, which may entitle you to up to treble (3x’s) damages, as well as attorney fees.
